Logue Corporate has assisted Cirencester based CIA Fire & Security Ltd (CIA) with their successful acquisition of Gloucester based and local competitor, Micro-Vision Fire & Security Ltd. Commenting on the acquisition Logue Corporate’s Bobby Logue said: “Over the past year we have concluded six acquisitions in the security sector, including a major deal in India, on behalf of our clients. The industry has recognised our ability to act as facilitators and negotiators, areas which are difficult to achieve in tandem. We also bring to the table, a high level of security industry knowledge which combined with our 16 years of M&A activity experience, which allows us to break through potential deadlocks relatively easily. The news section on our website is testament to our many happy buyers and vendors. Most our business comes from previous customers and their recommendations to other companies.
Sally Jones, the Business, Finance, Project, Development Manager of CIA Fire & Security Ltd, who headed up the acquisition commented: “Bobby Logue acted on behalf of Logue Corporate, in what can only be described as a very complex and convoluted transaction between two businesses. From start to finish, Mr Logue demonstrated exceptional commitment and professionalism, his wealth of knowledge and fine people skills securing a contract that was quite often threatened.
“Mr Logue, a dynamic character with considerable experience in Business Management, Financial and Legal affairs, served as a credible mediator in some very challenging situations. Mr Logue recognised the importance of regular communication. No matter the time of day, Mr Logue showed willingness to travel great distances and was always available at the end of the phone. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Logue for his exceptional performance and for mentoring myself and the team through a very challenging and arduous time; it has been quite a journey.” Concluded Ms Jones.
Rebecca Ives, the Managing Director of Micro-Vision Fire & Security Ltd wrote; “I would like to personally extend my heartfelt thanks to you for the professionalism and efficiency with which you assisted in the share sale deal for my company. When I was first approached by Logue Corporate back in January 2013, via mail shot, something made me take notice of the letter and not just file with all the others I have received over the years, in the large grey filing cabinet under my desk – aka bin!
“As the weeks unravelled I became more and more reassured I had made the correct choice in contacting you, after the mail shot, to see what you could do for us. From initial contact right until the deal had been brokered – and beyond – I have found you personally to be of great value to the deal.
We had some rocky times but non that were taken out of your usual stride; albeit occasionally you had to do some fast thing, outside of the usual boxes, but always came through with a solution.
“During the 5 months the deal took to complete I found you to be very professional, always discreet, whilst maintaining the personable approach. I am under no illusion that without your interjection at certain intervals the deal could easily have fallen apart. Whilst you were ultimately acting for the buyers I felt that you truly had my best interests at heart in terms of ensuring a true market value was realised for the company. I would have no hesitation in recommending you personally, and Logue Corporate, to anyone considering selling their security company; in fact I already have passed your details on to one company.“ Ms Ives concluded.
